Course Description:
Computer terminology, hardware, software, operating systems and information systems relating to the business environment. The main focus of this course is on business applications of software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation graphics and business utilization of the internet. Students will apply technical skills (primarily the Microsoft Office program) to address real-world business applications in order to make a successful transition to the workforce and/or postsecondary education. The class content will consist of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Internet Searches, and Operating Systems
